Head of Sales Engineering, Americas

Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors. They are seeking a visionary leader for their Sales Engineering organization to inspire and scale a world-class presales team, driving measurable outcomes and translating complex cybersecurity challenges into strategic value for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Sales Engineers across the Americas
• Build a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and accountability
• Drive presales strategy and execution across enterprise, mid-market, and channel segments
• Ensure customer engagements, demos, and proofs of value meet the highest standards of excellence
• Translate complex cybersecurity challenges into clear business outcomes
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align on strategy and execution
• Represent the voice of the field to influence product innovation and roadmap priorities
• Cultivate executive-level relationships to position Horizon3.ai as a trusted cybersecurity advisor
• Recruit, mentor, and develop world-class technical talent
• Use data-driven insights to measure impact and continuously improve team performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solutions architecture, or technical leadership
• Proven success building and transforming high-performing technical teams
• Deep expertise in offensive and defensive cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat detection
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders
• Passion for mentoring, developing talent, and driving organizational growth
• Exceptional communication skills — able to simplify complex cybersecurity concepts
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to deliver aligned customer and business outcomes
• Data-driven approach to performance management and strategic decision-making
• Strategic mindset with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
