About this role
PriceSenz is seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to support complex technology initiatives involving system modernization and data transformation. The role includes gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing legacy systems, and assisting with the implementation of modern software solutions including SaaS and COTS applications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced business analysis for complex technology projects
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Reverse engineer legacy systems and document functional requirements
- Analyze and improve business processes and workflows
- Create and maintain design and requirements documentation
- Develop process diagrams and system documentation
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders and technical teams
- Define functional specifications and system requirements
- Support data migration and system transformation initiatives
- Assist with SaaS and COTS application implementations
- Support data warehouse initiatives and reporting solutions
- Create and maintain requirement traceability documentation
- Develop use cases and data models
- Create prototypes and screen mockups
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Assist with training and implementation support
- Analyze production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Document system corrections and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Support multiple concurrent projects
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- 10+ years of business analysis experience in software development projects
- Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience creating technical and functional documentation
- Experience with requirements traceability and use cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Experience with process mapping and documentation
- Experience defining functional specifications
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing
- Experience analyzing production issues and root causes
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with one or more of the following tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, Axure, Prototyping tools
- Experience working with legacy systems or mainframe environments
- Experience with data migration projects
- Experience with data warehouses or data lakes
- Experience with ETL processes
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Azure DevOps
