The DevSecOps Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience by managing AWS environments and automating processes, while working alongside a dedicated team to improve technology foundations and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Leveraging AI to elevate the team’s abilities and capacity
- Leveraging your existing programming language skills and incorporating them into our suite of Cloud Ops and DevSecOps tools and platforms
- Learn something new
- Get hands on experience that positions you for new AWS certifications
- Learn a new suite of tools from our expert team
- Show your grit by digging into new technical areas for you and possibly for the team
- Work with team to design, plan and implement Cloud Platform solutions primarily focused in AWS
- Gain a solid understanding of CI/CD tools, automation solutions and overall optimizing technical efficiency
- Automate operational procedures including configuration management, deployments, password management
- Implement appropriate monitoring, alerting and measurements to ensure the health of our environment
Requirements:
- Use of AI for personal, academic and personal technical growth
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field
- Graduating Summer or Fall 2026
- GPA of 3.3 or higher
- Ability to commit 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026
- Any AWS exposure, lab experience or certifications
- AI experience
- Awareness of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GIT, TFS, Docker
- Familiarity with scripting tools such as Python, PERL, Powershell, Ansible, or others
- Familiarity with AWS IAC coding and terraform
- Experience with languages like Java and .Net are a big plus
- Attentive to department needs as demonstrated by rapid and high-quality responsiveness to requests
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members and employees in other departments
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Willingness to ask for help and the grit to follow through on your own
