DevSecOps Engineering Intern

The DevSecOps Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience by managing AWS environments and automating processes, while working alongside a dedicated team to improve technology foundations and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Leveraging AI to elevate the team’s abilities and capacity
• Leveraging your existing programming language skills and incorporating them into our suite of Cloud Ops and DevSecOps tools and platforms
• Learn something new
• Get hands on experience that positions you for new AWS certifications
• Learn a new suite of tools from our expert team
• Show your grit by digging into new technical areas for you and possibly for the team
• Work with team to design, plan and implement Cloud Platform solutions primarily focused in AWS
• Gain a solid understanding of CI/CD tools, automation solutions and overall optimizing technical efficiency
• Automate operational procedures including configuration management, deployments, password management
• Implement appropriate monitoring, alerting and measurements to ensure the health of our environment

Requirements:

• Use of AI for personal, academic and personal technical growth
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field
• Graduating Summer or Fall 2026
• GPA of 3.3 or higher
• Ability to commit 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer of 2026
• Any AWS exposure, lab experience or certifications
• AI experience
• Awareness of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GIT, TFS, Docker
• Familiarity with scripting tools such as Python, PERL, Powershell, Ansible, or others
• Familiarity with AWS IAC coding and terraform
• Experience with languages like Java and .Net are a big plus
• Attentive to department needs as demonstrated by rapid and high-quality responsiveness to requests
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members and employees in other departments
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Willingness to ask for help and the grit to follow through on your own
