Airflow DevOps Engineer - 100% Remote

Lorven Technologies Inc. is seeking an Airflow DevOps Engineer for a long-term project. The role focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing data-driven workflows using Apache Airflow, ensuring high reliability and operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Must be A strong Python developer with deep Airflow expertise is needed to optimize workflows, support application teams, and ensure efficient DAG development
• This role centers on building and enhancing pipelines using Apache Airflow, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the organization
• By combining strong technical expertise with an understanding of business processes, the engineer supports both day to day orchestration needs and long term strategic initiatives
• This requires a blend of DevOps practices, automation skills, and data workflow management to drive continuous improvement and enable informed decision making
• The ideal candidate should understand core Airflow concepts, including dynamic DAG generation, and be capable of identifying inefficiencies within existing systems to drive meaningful improvements
• While familiarity with CICD processes is expected, advanced specialization is not required
• In addition to development responsibilities, the role also involves assisting application teams and contributing to Airflow cluster administration
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) / Apache Airflow Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent
• 10+ Years of Overall IT experience
• Strong Python developer with deep Airflow expertise
• Experience in optimizing workflows and supporting application teams
• Ability to design, maintain, and optimize data-driven workflows
• Experience in building and enhancing pipelines using Apache Airflow
• Understanding of core Airflow concepts, including dynamic DAG generation
• Ability to identify inefficiencies within existing systems
• Familiarity with CICD processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns
• High level of focus and attention to detail
