Senior Data Engineer (39312)

Smart Circle International is a leading broker of outsourced sales and customer acquisition services. They are seeking a Senior Data Automation Engineer to enhance operational efficiency and business insight by designing, developing, and managing automated data processes across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Customize Salesforce data model and automations to align with business requirements
• Manage data governance and integrate external systems
• Support users, optimize performance, and ensure compliance
• Design dashboards with advanced calculations and manage data layers and security
• Administer access controls and tune performance
• Develop scalable databases in SQL Server and Snowflake
• Optimize SQL scripts, support reporting, and maintain ETL pipelines
• Design and schedule automations and workflows
• Monitor and optimize job performance and implement alerting mechanisms
• Maintain documentation and security protocols
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance automation reliability and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Proven expertise with Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake
• Demonstrated ability to design and manage automated data pipelines across multi-platform environments
• Strong experience developing datasets, procedures, and functions in SQL-based systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake)
• Hands-on experience creating self-service, sales-facing reports in Tableau
• Solid understanding of data governance, system integration (APIs, middleware), and automation best practices
• Skilled at collaborating across technical and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of recent, relevant experience in data engineering and analytics
• Salesforce or Snowflake certifications
• Experience with Python integration and notebooks
• Salesforce Platform and Administration certifications
• Snowflake certifications
