The Lead Business Analyst will support the execution and operational management of the enterprise Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to ensure effective business continuity and disaster recovery programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise BIA cycles, including workshop facilitation, documentation, and validation of recovery objectives (RTO/RPO/MTD) and dependencies
- Coordinate BIA inputs for DR scenarios and support end-to-end testing execution and documentation
- Maintain centralized logs of recovery gaps and remediation plans, track ownership, and target dates
- Monitor, escalate, and ensure documentation meets audit and regulatory standards
- Coordinate and validate BIA data submissions across business and IT teams
- Maintain repositories, evidence libraries, and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Support executive, governance, and regulatory reporting processes
- Develop and manage BIA/DR metrics, dashboards, and trend reporting
- Support day-to-day execution of the BIA roadmap, stakeholder communications, and milestone tracking
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor team members, manage risks, and drive process improvements from evaluation through implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience such as business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, or technology risk
- Working knowledge of RTO, RPO, and MTD concepts
- Business impact analysis processes
- Issue tracking and remediation management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or resilience management platforms such as ServiceNow's Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Exposure to disaster recovery testing programs or operational risk frameworks
- Professional certification (or progress toward) CBCP, CBCI, or similar
