Senior Healthcare Data Analyst - Remote

Sentara Health is hiring a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to support their Enterprise Analytics team with retrospective research on medical practice and operations. The role involves developing reports and dashboards to monitor performance and providing data-driven insights to leaders and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Support Sentara Enterprise Analytics with internal, system-wide retrospective research on medical practice and operations
• Provides advanced analytics support by developing reports and interactive dashboards to monitor program and operational performance across an integrated health system
• Promotes self-service analytics
• Translates business questions into analytic requirements
• Delivers data-driven insights and recommendations to leaders and provider partners
• Designing programmatic analyses
• Performing ad-hoc deep dives
• Supporting data quality and stewardship to maintain accuracy and introduce meaningful new metrics
• Onboards and mentors junior analysts
• Partners closely with internal customers and external providers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in data/analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Master's Degree In a Related Field
• Tableau/Power BI certification
• healthcare analytics/coding quality certifications
