Business Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst will transform complex business needs into effective data solutions, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with data governance standards and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders, project managers, and product owners to capture, clarify, and prioritize complex requirements across multiple workstreams
• Translate business needs into detailed technical documentation, including data flows, process maps, and integration points, ensuring clarity for technical teams
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and governance standards
• Document dependencies, sequencing, and decision points to maintain transparency and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders
• Act as a consultant during the design and build phases of data transformation initiatives, driving structured prioritization and risk mitigation
• Support the validation of data quality, metadata, and compliance standards to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence
• Participate in agile or waterfall project environments, providing continuous input and updates to ensure project milestones are met
• Maintain disciplined documentation practices, including requirement traceability and change management records

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Six or more years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis roles
• At least three years of experience translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams
