Associate Insurance Product Manager, Pet

Lemonade is a dynamic company focused on developing innovative insurance products, specifically in the pet insurance sector. They are seeking an Associate Insurance Product Manager to collaborate with actuarial and underwriting experts, drive product development, and leverage AI to enhance decision-making and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with our actuarial and underwriting experts to work on the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements
• Measure the impact of product changes and translate insights into actionable learnings
• Collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval, and work closely with the Product team to implement new features
• Research market trends and competitor actions and make insightful recommendations to profitably grow the pet business
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, analytics, and decision-making through automation, AI tools, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of P&C experience, with 4+ years of personal lines insurance experience in product development or product management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and taking action
• Strong technical skills with SQL, Looker, or similar data visualization tools, and experience creating reports and dashboards
• Ownership mentality and project management skills, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
• Comfort working in a tech-enabled environment where experimentation, automation, and data-driven decisions are the norm
• Ability to work in a remote environment
