Metajive is an award-winning digital design and technology studio based in Encinitas, California. They are seeking a Digital Product Designer to bridge the gap between high-fidelity UX and complex digital products, ensuring that design solutions are scalable and aligned with technical frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Apply systems thinking to design solutions that scale across complex digital products, ensuring alignment with technical frameworks and architectural constraints
- Iterate rapidly on live products by conducting lean usability studies and user validation to identify friction points and elevate the customer experience
- Lead the migration of existing product assets to the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with system standards
- Develop information architectures, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity compositions, design specs, redlines, and interactive prototypes, working quickly and independently
- Build rapport with Product Management and Development. Think big picture, taking steps to ensure design standards are utilized seamlessly across the company
- Serve as a technical resource for other designers on the team
- Orchestrate a diverse project portfolio, aligning stakeholder vision with execution through proactive communication to ensure high-caliber, on-schedule delivery
- Ideate innovative solutions and set the vision for the next generation of our digital experiences
Requirements:
- 5+ years of design experience as a product designer, with a focus on shipped digital products
- A solid understanding of technology stacks, frameworks, and platform constraints. You can design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing technical architectures
- Adept at using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions
- Experience working within and contributing to enterprise-level design systems, including pattern application and governance
- Proven track record of designing apps and digital products with complex transactional or e-commerce flows within large-scale client experience
- Proficiency working in fast-moving Agile environments
- Advanced proficiency in User-Centered Design and Lean UX
- Deep experience working in Figma
- You are self-motivated with an intense focus on achieving results and resolving issues reliably and quickly
