Data Engineer (Data Warehouse Developer III)

VNSURE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a strong Data Engineer to participate in their Data Management Program. This role involves working on a collaborative team to enhance data literacy and drive data-driven initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL
• Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs
• Developing various types of data loads (e.g., incremental, history/full, survivorship rules)
• Implementing change data capture (CDC)
• Testing and debugging ETL
• Developing complex SQL
• ETL job scheduling
• Loading data warehouses using ETL tools
• Management of multiple ETL tools
• Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
• Using source code version control software
• Mentoring others on ETL development
• Managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills including communication, mentoring, collaboration, and team building

Requirements:

• Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL — 6 years
• Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (6 years, preferably 2 years with Alteryx)
• Developing various types of data loads (e.g., incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) — 6 years
• Implementing change data capture (CDC) — 4 years
• Testing and debugging ETL — 6 years
• Developing complex SQL — 6 years
• ETL job scheduling — 2 years
• Loading data warehouses using ETL tools — 2 years
• Management of multiple ETL tools
• Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
• Using source code version control software
• Mentoring others on ETL development
