They are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Representative to drive growth and expand market share within the competitive NYC construction and design industry by building and nurturing relationships with developers, architects, and interior designers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients, including developers, architects, and interior designers, to promote our premium product offerings
- Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their vision
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our presence in the NYC market and increase sales revenue
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key industry stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure client needs are met effectively
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to showcase our offerings and provide technical guidance
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and contracts to secure new business deals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the building materials, architecture, or construction industry
- Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and building materials
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with high-profile clients
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for the architectural and design industry
- Knowledge of the NYC construction market and existing industry contacts is a plus
