Standard Metrics is an AI-driven financial data platform that assists investors and portfolio companies in making informed decisions through automated reporting and benchmarking tools. They are seeking a motivated Product Manager who will oversee the entire product lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the product with the company's vision and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and feature prioritization to launch and iteration
- Spend time with customers, sales, and support teams to deeply understand their pain points/needs, and translate this knowledge into actionable product strategies
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap, and help prioritize features that create the most value for customers
- Collect and analyze data from product usage metrics, customer feedback, in-house stakeholders and competitor data to inform product decisions and feature requirements
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery
- Use data from product usage, customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and continuously improve the product
Requirements:
- Deep domain expertise in venture capital investment and finance workflows - either from building products serving VCs/LPs (cap table management, scenario modeling, investment tracking) or from working at a venture firm
- 4+ years of formal PM experience or subject matter expertise with demonstrated product sense and structured thinking
- A customer-centric mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a willingness to take risks, experiment, and learn quickly from failure
- Ability to alternate between 10,000 foot and 10 foot views easily, and at the right time
- Demonstrated expertise leading product lifecycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic planning, requirements definition, and product value optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks
