RoboStruct Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technology Co-op to gain hands-on experience in designing and building engineering projects. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to impactful initiatives while developing technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your mentor to achieve defined goals that align with business objectives and support your professional development
- Complete technical assignments in areas such as Dimensional Controls, Metrology, Modeling, and Simulation
- Gain practical experience in 3D scanning, PolyWorks analysis, introduction to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and model-based definition
- Participate in development and training sessions to strengthen technical and professional skills
- Engage in networking activities and community volunteer initiatives
- Optional engagement activities may include team lunches, weekend events, sports, and social gatherings
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Expected graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Legal authorization to work in the country/region of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
- Relevant coursework in mechanical engineering disciplines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
