Sedra Solutions Inc is redefining forensic accounting through AI-native software. The role involves designing and building scalable data pipelines, owning data ingestion and transformation processes, and collaborating with engineering to define data contracts and system boundaries.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
- Own ingestion, transformation, modeling, and delivery of reliable datasets for analytics and product use cases
- Collaborate with engineering to define clean data contracts and system boundaries
- Contribute to shared infrastructure, deployment processes, and cross-functional technical initiatives
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and cost/performance optimization as usage grows
- Establish pragmatic best practices for architecture, modeling, and reliability
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, LLM copilots) to accelerate development while maintaining high standards
Requirements:
- 3–8+ years of experience in data, backend, or platform engineering
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python (Scala is a plus)
- Experience building and running production-grade systems and data pipelines
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT patterns
- Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure welcome)
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Understanding of cloud security best practices

- Experience with BigQuery (strongly preferred)
- Experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Dataflow, Beam, Spark)
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
- Experience supporting analytics, ML, or experimentation workloads
- Experience owning systems in a small, high-autonomy team
- Exposure to fintech, legal tech, or forensic accounting domains
