Bernardo Consulting Group (BCG) specializes in designing and managing physical security projects for critical infrastructure. They are seeking a Project Manager responsible for leading and coordinating these projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards while managing client relationships and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project management for physical security design engagements, including scope definition, scheduling, resource coordination, and delivery
- Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact, managing relationships and communications with stakeholders across large-scale infrastructure programs
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and status reports, proactively identifying and resolving risks and issues
- Lead project meetings, facilitate coordination between engineering, design, and support teams, and ensure action items are tracked to completion
- Manage RFI and Submittal processes in collaboration with the security design team, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Manage RFP and Change Order processes in collaboration with the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, records, and data in project management systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BCG's project management processes, tools, and standards
- Mentor and provide guidance to project support staff as the team grows
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered
- 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in physical security, data center, construction, or critical infrastructure environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Experience in physical security system design, data center construction, or critical infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Revit, CAD, or BIM workflows and their role in design-phase project coordination
- Knowledge of document control systems and RFI/submittal management processes
- Experience supporting hyperscaler or large-scale technology infrastructure clients
