HKA is a global leader in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, and expert witness services. In this role, you will lead complex Forensic Electrical Engineering projects and serve as a lead testifying expert in claims, arbitration, and litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze electrical systems, construction issues, and deficiencies
- Develop expert opinions and identify responsible parties
- Create comprehensive forensic engineering reports
- Serve as a lead testifying expert in claims, arbitration, and litigation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License
- 3+ years of Forensic Engineering experience including Litigation Support and Drafting Expert Reports
- Experience as a testifying Expert Witness in court
- 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Knowledge of building electrical systems (power, lighting, communications, lightning protection, security) and industrial/manufacturing systems (process, chemical, water/wastewater, power, transmission lines, oil & gas)
- Detailed knowledge of design, equipment specification, testing, commissioning procedures, and fire investigations
- Master's or above
- multi-state Professional Engineer License
