Newsweek is a global media organization that has earned audience trust for over 90 years. They are seeking a Digital Account Manager focused on sales strategy and client service, primarily in the Connected TV space, to drive business through data-driven storytelling and manage client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of CTV-specific sales marketing decks, pitches, and custom proposals
- Provide strategic planning and marketing support for display, mobile, and video ad sales to ensure holistic client solutions
- Conduct deep-dive industry research and mine historical data to build compelling success stories and 'proof of concept' case studies
- Stay at the forefront of AI advertising trends, helping the sales team translate these opportunities into actionable client offerings
- Utilize DMPs and internal tools to forecast inventory, calculate GRPs, and evaluate ROI for prospective clients
- Oversee the full lifecycle of digital media campaigns, including display, OTT, pre-roll video, and custom sponsorships
- Lead the launch process for complex campaigns, ensuring trafficking accuracy across all inventory partners
- Proactively manage accounts by monitoring daily delivery metrics and performance data to provide optimization recommendations
- Prepare robust weekly/monthly wrap-up reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) focusing on KPIs and future strategic guidance
- Assist Sales with upselling new or existing products and securing incremental budgets and renewals
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (Ad Ops, Publisher Development) and clients to solve problems and troubleshoot technical issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with a heavy focus on CTV, OTT, or Linear TV
- Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, display, and video ad delivery
- Hands-on experience with CTV measurement and attribution tools (e.g., iSpot, TVSquared, Innovid)
- Strong ability to analyze data and clearly communicate findings, specifically regarding GRPs, reach, and frequency
- Proven ability to build compelling PowerPoint decks and Excel-based media plans under tight RFP deadlines
- A 'forward-thinking' mindset with a desire to learn and implement AI-driven advertising tools
- BA/BS required
