Visual Components is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Success Manager to join their growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, securing contract renewals, and identifying growth opportunities within the existing customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Secure contract renewals by managing annual subscription cycles and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers
- Maintain regular engagement with customers to ensure satisfaction, identify needs early, and help address any challenges before they escalate
- Spot and mitigate risks that may impact retention, and work proactively to resolve issues
- Identify expansion opportunities, such as:
- Additional seats
- Higher-level licenses
- New application areas
- Expansion to new sites or companies within the same customer group
- Act as a trusted advisor by helping customers fully utilize Visual Components solutions and achieve maximum value from our products
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical specialists, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer success, account management, or B2B sales, ideally within software
- Background in simulation, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify growth opportunities and support negotiations for renewals and expansions
- Analytical mindset for assessing customer health, adoption trends, and potential risks
- Customer-centric, proactive attitude with the ability to balance retention and expansion goals
- Experience working with CRM tools and modern communication platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
- Associates degree from a two-year college or university or technical school; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
