In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to manage the pre-sales technical process, create sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers
- Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate
- Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs
- Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POC's)
- Maximizing customer satisfaction based on the customer's needs and business requirements
Requirements:
- 5yrs of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or another related field
- Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical presales/sales engineering/post-sales
- Demonstrate understanding of the internet, including but not limited to technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), APIs etc
- Experience or an interest in working with DevOps, Media or Internet Security
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
- Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
