Vision Technologies, Inc is a national and global systems integrator that provides IT services and solutions for commercial and federal clients. They are seeking a highly technical and commercially driven Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy and vendor partnerships across their low-voltage infrastructure portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product roadmap for:
- Structured cabling infrastructure (copper & fiber)
- Fault managed power solutions (Class 4 power)
- Low-voltage lighting systems
- Evaluate emerging technologies and align offerings with market demand and customer verticals (Data Center, Enterprise, Healthcare, Education, Federal, etc.)
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new infrastructure solutions
- Manage strategic relationships with:

- Negotiate product positioning, certifications, rebates, and partner program tiers
- Lead technical alignment meetings with manufacturers
- Coordinate product training and technical certifications
- Provide subject matter expertise in:
- Structured cabling design (Cat6A, Cat8, fiber backbone, OSP, etc.)
- Fiber optic infrastructure (single-mode, multi-mode, termination, testing)
- Fault Managed Power (Class 4 systems)
- Low-voltage lighting distribution
- Support pre-sales engineering with solution design, BOM validation, and standards compliance
- Ensure solutions meet BICSI, NEC, and industry standards
- Partner with Sales to develop solution messaging and competitive positioning
- Work with Operations to standardize materials and optimize procurement
- Support Marketing with technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies
- Assist Estimating team with product standards and pricing guidance
- Track product performance, margins, and adoption rates
- Conduct competitive analysis and vendor benchmarking
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and differentiation
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in low-voltage infrastructure, structured cabling, or systems integration
- Direct experience working with manufacturers such as Belden, CommScope, Corning
- Experience supporting design-build or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Understanding of NEC, TIA/EIA standards, and BICSI best practices
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a technical environment
- RCDD or equivalent certification
- Experience in data center or large enterprise environments
- Exposure to smart building systems and integrated infrastructure
- Preference for a background in copper and fiber structured cabling systems
- Preference for a background in Fault Managed Power (Class 4 preferred)
- Preference for a background in low-voltage lighting systems
