Confluent Health is seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead and oversee complex operational initiatives that enhance clinical, operational, financial, and workforce performance. This role will focus on operational transformation and process optimization, partnering with various stakeholders to drive sustainable operational change across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Leads multiple, complex operational initiatives aligned to Confluent Health’s strategic priorities and PMO standards
- Develops comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, mitigation strategies, and success metrics
- Drives execution of initiatives spanning clinical operations, revenue cycle, workforce optimization, scheduling, access, compliance, and enterprise process improvement
- Monitors and reports project progress, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and sustained adoption
- Identifies operational risks, constraints, and interdependencies early and proactively drives resolution
- Partners with IT and Data/BI teams as needed but remains accountable for business outcomes, not system delivery alone
- Leads executive-level and cross-functional project status meetings, clearly communicating progress, risks, decisions, and action plans
- Establishes strong partnerships with operations leadership, clinical leaders, finance, HR, IT, data/BI, and external partners
- Acts as a bridge between strategy and execution, translating business objectives into actionable operational plans
- Influences without direct authority to drive alignment, decision-making, and accountability across diverse stakeholder groups
- Represents Confluent Health professionally in all operational and cross-functional engagements
- Drives operational readiness, change adoption, and communication planning to ensure initiatives are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations
- Works with leaders and frontline teams to address resistance, clarify expectations, and reinforce new ways of working
- Ensures operational changes are supported with clear processes, documentation, training, and ownership models
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of experience in operations project management, operational transformation, or related roles
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable operational outcomes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and teams without direct reporting authority
- Healthcare, clinical operations, revenue cycle, or multi-site services environment experience strongly preferred
- PMP and agile certifications preferred
