About this role
KPG99 INC is seeking a CDN Engineer to design and manage CDN solutions. The role involves optimizing performance, automating configurations, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective integration across environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CDN solutions including Akamai , Cloudflare , Amazon CloudFront , Fastly , and Imperva
- Automate CDN configurations using Python, Terraform, GitOps, or similar tools
- Optimize caching strategies, routing policies, DNS, Bot Manager, and security configurations
- Monitor performance using tools like Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Akamai TrafficPeak; build dashboards and alerts
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide on-call support during late-night releases
- Ensure CDN performance aligns with SEO and web optimization best practices
- Implement API acceleration and caching strategies; work with REST APIs and tools like Postman
- Enforce security standards including TLS/mTLS, WAF, load balancing, and DNS best practices
- Provide reference architectures and deployment guidance to enterprise teams
- Collaborate with development, network, and security teams to integrate CDN solutions across AWS, GCP, and hybrid environments
Requirements:
- 10+ years of enterprise CDN experience in distributed systems
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Go, Python, Node.js, or Java)
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, proxies, caching, and cloud platforms
- Experience with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code
