ProAg is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Product Manager, Digital Ag to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of digital products that support our agents, employees, and policyholders. This role is responsible for the full product lifecycle—from discovery through delivery—ensuring digital solutions are aligned with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for digital agriculture products, from discovery and prioritization through delivery and ongoing optimization
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Partner closely with engineering, UX, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate user needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Gather and analyze feedback from agents, field teams, and internal users to inform product decisions and enhancements
- Balance regulatory, operational, and customer experience considerations in product design and execution
- Use data and insights to measure product performance, inform prioritization, and drive continuous improvement
- Support go-to-market planning, product launches, and change management activities
- Clearly communicate product direction, progress, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Agriculture, Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of five years product management, digital product ownership, or a related role, crop insurance experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in agile or hybrid product development environments
- Strong ability to translate complex business or regulatory needs into user-friendly digital solutions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Must be an exceptional communicator, with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Skill in translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and fostering stakeholder alignment
- Must be able to cater to both a technical and business level
- Ability to align product vision with organizational goals and drive execution across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in product lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Pendo), and experience integrating precision ag data into product workflows
- Passion for improving customer experiences through research, feedback, and iterative design
