Strata Information Group (SIG) is a trusted leader in higher-education technology consulting, supporting colleges and universities with various services. They are seeking an experienced Salesforce Product Manager to provide strategic product leadership and governance oversight for a university-wide Salesforce ecosystem supporting Student Success, Admissions, and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the university’s Salesforce product ecosystem across Student Success, Admissions, and Marketing
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, ensuring alignment, accountability, and delivery excellence
- Own and govern the enterprise product roadmap, driving prioritization decisions aligned with institutional goals and strategic initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and resolve competing priorities across departments and stakeholders
- Establish and maintain product governance frameworks, including intake, prioritization, release management, and performance tracking
- Champion organizational change management to ensure successful adoption of new features, enhancements, and process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Generally 3-5 years experience in roles with multiple direct reports while working with executive leadership developing technology roadmaps understanding and advocating for stakeholder needs and holding decision-making authority for product development
- Demonstrated experience in higher education environments with deep understanding of university operations student lifecycle and institutional processes
- Experience managing enterprise software platforms and complex technical implementations
- Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud Marketing Cloud and/or Service Cloud implementations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities limitations and best practices
- Knowledge of CRM systems data integration and enterprise software ecosystems
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies
- Demonstrated analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of user experience design principles and user research methodologies
- Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives
- Previous experience implementing or managing Salesforce platforms in higher education settings
- Knowledge of student information systems learning management systems and other higher education technologies
