Recruits Lab is partnering with a well-funded, early-stage startup revolutionizing residential real estate with an AI-powered platform. They are seeking Senior AI/ML Engineers to design and build advanced machine learning systems that power automation across real estate workflows, with direct ownership over the models and systems that will shape the product and technical trajectory of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready machine learning models for NLP, document parsing, and workflow automation, establishing best practices for model lifecycle management
- Lead the technical implementation of AI-driven contract creation, e-signature verification, and payment automation systems
- Integrate complex ML solutions with modern web technologies using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Architect scalable AI services in a microservices framework, leveraging Supabase, Vercel, and other modern dev tools, while mentoring junior team members
- Establish and maintain robust ML pipelines, model monitoring, and CI/CD for AI systems
- Research and implement state-of-the-art algorithms in NLP, embeddings, LLMs, and structured data to maintain a competitive edge
- Drive technical decision-making and contribute significantly to the overall product and engineering strategy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML or related software engineering roles, with a track record of deploying systems to production
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and core ML frameworks
- Deep experience with NLP, OCR, or document understanding systems, ideally in a regulated or high-accuracy domain
- Proven ability to architect and scale ML systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Comfortable taking high-level ownership in zero-to-one environments with high ambiguity and significant impact
- Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js preferred for seamless integration with production platforms
- Bonus: Experience in proptech, fintech, or compliance automation, and working with production-level LLMs, embeddings, or generative AI
- Must be U.S.-based (remote-first, with hubs in Miami, NYC, SF, or LA preferred)
