Principal Electrical Engineer – AI & Hyperscale (Data Center)

KTek Resourcing is working with HCL America to find a Principal Electrical Engineer for their AI & Hyperscale projects. The role involves designing end-to-end data center power systems and developing high-density power architecture for AI/GPU workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end data center power systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators, PDUs, busway)
• Develop high-density power architecture for AI/GPU workloads
• Define redundancy models (N+1, 2N)
• Perform load calculations and power analysis
• Review and approve electrical drawings
• Standardize global design templates and engineering practices
• Support new builds and upgrades across regions
• Work with OEMs for equipment selection and lifecycle planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical or data center electrical design
• Strong expertise in MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution
• Experience in hyperscale or AI data center environments
• Hands-on commissioning and testing experience
• Strong technical and leadership skills
