Windows Server Engineer

Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Application Development Engineer / Technical Lead to perform bug analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bug analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and report generation
• Provide ongoing production support and application maintenance
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance team effectiveness and operational efficiency
• Monitor application performance using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and performance
• Serve as the principal designer for major application systems and subsystems
• Provide comprehensive consultation to business units and IT management across all phases of application development
• Work across diverse computing environments including host-based systems, distributed systems, client-server architectures, and cloud platforms
• Identify and recommend appropriate development solutions, including: Developing new or modified applications, Reusing existing code, Integrating third-party or purchased solutions, Leveraging alternative development approaches
• Research, evaluate, and recommend efficient and cost-effective technical solutions
• Develop, document, test, implement, and support applications
• Exercise strong judgment, creativity, and foresight in planning and delivering initiatives
• Provide technical thought leadership within the Application Development function
• Advise functional leaders using deep professional knowledge and technical expertise
• Contribute to broader business initiatives requiring cross-functional understanding
