Zurich North America is seeking a Client Partner/Strategic Account Executive to join their Sales & Marketing team. This role focuses on leading consulting service engagements to achieve business outcomes for new client acquisitions within the Business Resilience market, while managing relationships and sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage daily work to achieve delivery of own sales and business performance targets
- Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to potential new clients for specific technical product and/or application of product
- Provides interface between potential new client and risk engineering representatives
- Researches client technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products and services
- Build, develop and maintain profitable relationships to promote ZRS’s propositions including negotiation, new offer and closures and terminations where required
- Evaluate strategy to maximize new client acquisitions, and profit for ZRS
- Oversee the development of sales pipelines and ensure accurate and timely updates to the CRM database throughout the sales cycle
- Prepares and conduct sales briefings for potential new client and company representatives
- Develop potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements for new client acquisition
- Provide advice that enables a potential client to solve a problem or improve business
- Anticipate potential client needs, monitor trends in order to recommend changes
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Sales area OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
- Insurance industry and/or physical risk consulting experience
- Proven track record in sales across direct B2B channels in the US, with ideally some experience in partnership/affinity distribution
- Strong consultative sales solutions experience
- Experience within a consulting firm
- Governance, risk and compliance consulting experience
- Ability to influence C-Suite executives
- Experience working in a “scale-up” business environment with ambitious growth plans
- Strong negotiation skills, with influential management abilities
- Experience within a risk organization with knowledge in risk assessment, thought leadership, and delivering risk insights
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills
- Excellent presentation skills
