Senior Manager – Indirect Tax (Sales & Use) | Fully Remote | Up to $170k+

LEVELOCITI is a national specialty tax consulting firm focused on tax incentives consulting. The Senior Manager in Indirect Tax (Sales & Use) will lead client engagements, manage multi-state indirect tax compliance, and provide high-quality advisory services to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Sales & Use tax consulting engagements across a diverse national client base
• Manage multi-state indirect tax compliance, research, and planning projects
• Handle VDAs, refund claims, and audit defense on behalf of clients
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering high-quality advisory services and building lasting relationships
• Collaborate across service lines including SALT incentives, R&D, cost segregation, and energy credits
• Mentor and develop junior team members as the practice continues to grow
• Support business development efforts and contribute to firm growth initiatives

Requirements:

• Significant Sales & Use tax experience across multiple states
• Strong consulting/advisory background
• Client-facing experience at the Senior Manager level
• Experience with VDAs and refund claims is a strong plus
• Comfortable working across a wide industry mix — manufacturing, real estate, construction, retail, tech, telecom, PE-backed companies, and more
