Sr. Engineer, Cloud Operations Infrastructure

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will support the infrastructure enablement of SAP BTP-integrated workloads on AWS, collaborating to build and maintain compliant and resilient infrastructure in alignment with high security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code for BTP workloads hosted in AWS
• Drive automation, provisioning, logging, and secure service integrations across SAP BTP and AWS resources
• Troubleshoot environment builds and partner with cloud operations to support workload readiness

Requirements:

• Strong infrastructure automation and operations troubleshooting capability
• Solid understanding of AWS managed services and infrastructure patterns
• Ability to work in an agile team environment with infrastructure-as-code practices
• Good understanding of cloud security, governance, and cost containment
• Good communicator across engineering and operations stakeholders
• 10+ years infrastructure or platform engineering experience
• 3+ years of AWS experience (IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, VPCs)
• 2+ years experience with IaC using Terraform
• Must be experienced in coding modules in Terraform, not just configuring IaC deployments
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with security-first infrastructure design and FedRAMP/IL4 exposure preferred
