One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead operational FOIA support services for a potential Government client. The role involves overseeing workflow performance, staff management, and ensuring compliance with FOIA statutory requirements and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daytoday FOIA operations and manage staff supporting Intake, Processing, POST, and Review functions
- Oversee all project deliverables including Activity Reports, Monthly FOIA Status Reports, Fee Waiver Reports, Meeting Logs, Training Logs, CPMP updates, and annual Closeout Reports
- Maintain production schedules, quality control measures, and compliance with FOIA timelines, including rolling release requirements (minimum 500 pages/request/week as directed)
- Manage the FOIA Request Tracker with realtime accuracy to support invoicing validation and Government review
- Conduct risk identification, issue resolution, performance monitoring, and process improvements
- Maintain communication with COR, PM, VA FOIA leadership, and internal OFS teams
- Ensure all contract personnel meet onboarding, background investigation, and training requirements
- Support audits, errorrate assessments, corrective actions, and QASP-driven performance standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or related field (or four years additional experience)
- Minimum 3 years managing federal support operations or program teams
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting FOIA, records management, privacy programs, or similar compliance-driven functions
- Strong understanding of FOIA processes, redaction workflows, exemptions, request types, and federal correspondence protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, performance metrics, schedules, and reporting
- Experience coordinating with federal stakeholders and presenting updates to leadership
- PMP certification
