Hyper-Reach is a mass emergency notification platform serving public safety agencies, municipalities, and utilities across the U.S. They are seeking a driven New Sales Developer to accelerate growth by acquiring new customers and expanding into emerging business verticals. The role involves leading market penetration, executing sales strategies, and building relationships with decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead New Market Penetration: Drive expansion efforts by identifying, researching, and developing business opportunities across new verticals beyond our current public safety client base
- Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach to proposal generation, product demonstrations (virtual/in-person), and closing deals
- Strategic Campaigning: Build and execute targeted outreach campaigns within your territory and across newly identified industry sectors
- Relationship Building: Establish strong connections with decision-makers and influencers across various industries using phone, email, social selling, and face-to-face interactions
- Pipeline Management: Keep accurate and timely records of all prospecting and sales activities in our CRM
- Market Feedback Loop: Share insights and trends from new verticals to help refine product-market fit and messaging
- Event Engagement: Represent Hyper-Reach at industry trade shows and networking events to build visibility and pipeline
Requirements:
- 4+ years of proven success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Demonstrated ability to break into new markets or sell to varied industry sectors
- Strong virtual and in-person presentation skills
- Experience navigating long and short sales cycles
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Experience in SaaS, emerging markets, or public sector technology
- Background in military, public safety, or government-related environments
- Background in selling mass emergency alert and communication solutions
