Novogene America is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Field Product Manager to drive the growth and success of their Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) product portfolio in the US market. This role involves managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from market analysis and strategy to launch execution and commercial support, while acting as the voice of the customer. The position requires domestic travel as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute US-specific go-to-market plans, product positioning, and pricing strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives
- Proactively gather and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback. Translate customer pain points and unmet needs into clear, actionable requirements for product development and enhancement
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to create and implement localized marketing campaigns, sales enablement tools, and promotional activities. Represent the company at key trade shows, conferences, and customer seminars
- Serve as the key liaison between the US commercial teams (Sales, Support) and global R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams. Proactively drive and manage projects to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle initiatives
- Train and empower the sales and field application specialist teams with deep product knowledge, competitive insights, and effective selling strategies
- Develop, review, and localize high-quality technical and marketing collateral (e.g., application notes, white papers, presentations) to support the commercial teams
Requirements:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related life science field
- Solid understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, platforms, and their applications in areas such as oncology, genetic disorders, reproductive health, or infectious disease
- Bilingual with proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Proven self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, resilience, and ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Deeply customer-focused with a keen business acumen and market sensitivity
- Must be willing and able to undertake regular domestic travel (e.g., to labs, customer visits, on-site events, etc.)
- Prior experience in product management, technical marketing, or field applications within the life sciences/diagnostics industry is highly preferred
