The Sales Development Representative - Inside Sales plays a crucial role in achieving sales goals by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities while partnering with the Revenue & Growth Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to all prospect inquiries through phone, email, social & chat
- Conduct targeted outreach to families exploring independent study or alternative education pathways, converting interest into qualified opportunities
- Manage and maintain a calendar of consultation appointments, ensuring timely delivery of scheduled sessions
- Identify trends and recommend solutions to drive increased customer enrollment and long-term loyalty
- Accurately document all prospect interactions and outcomes in CRM systems
- Execute special projects as assigned
- Use solution-oriented techniques that will leave an impeccable first impression
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards internal & external customers
- Must be available to work occasional Saturdays and overtime
Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years inside sales experience, ideally in education, edtech, or SaaS
- Ability to effectively close deals while fostering excellent customer relationships and retention
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead qualification
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar), Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service, written & oral communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be available for 10am - 6pm ET shift, Monday - Friday
- Required internet speed of at least 7Mbps. A speed test will be conducted
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
