Marvin is a family-owned company known for its innovative window and door solutions. The Finance Manager will support strategic objectives through financial analytics and insights, working closely with product development teams to enhance decision-making and drive business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate clear, compelling financial insights that enhance understanding of business and financial results, driving strategic awareness across the organization
- Create processes for delivering business analytics that provide visibility into results and the financial impact of investments, including product development initiatives
- Engage proactively with functional leaders and teams to identify business challenges and tailor financial insights to support decision-making
- Prepare and present executive-level analytics and reports that illuminate financial performance, enabling informed strategic decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure analytics align with enterprise goals, providing tools and insights necessary for effective leadership and operational decisions
- Partner with various business units and colleagues to develop comprehensive analytics, incorporating multiple perspectives and considering business impacts
- Implement and monitor metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives, informing continuous improvement and innovation
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivering exceptional financial support and analysis
- Travel up to 10% to other company sites to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment across locations
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support Marvin’s business objectives and growth initiatives
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of experience leading financial analytics processes within a corporate environment
- A strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams effectively
- Experience working with customer-facing functions within retail or consumer packaged goods organizations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and V-lookups
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams
