NVA General Practice is a growing network of veterinary services, and they are seeking a Procurement Project Manager to oversee procurement initiatives across various spend categories. The role involves leading project teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving operational efficiencies within a decentralized organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the completion of initiatives across various functions and departments
- Set clear project objectives and expectations and support team members in meeting project commitments and deliverables
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the procurement team
- Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to ensure team effectiveness and responsiveness to business needs
- Partner with the Procurement Leadership team to define requirements and build a process flow to achieve optimal, consistent outcomes
- Use the PACE or RACI methodology to establish members and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Medical, Technology, Finance, and Real Estate to align initiatives with business needs
- Support supplier governance forums to monitor performance, escalate issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), cost savings, and value delivery for assigned Initiatives
- Maintain sourcing documentation, including project plans, contracts, scorecards, and savings trackers
- Support implementation of sourcing policies, tools, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability
- Deliver cost savings, improved supplier value, and operational efficiencies across various initiatives
- Support sourcing professionals in providing and communicating impact across the enterprise
- Support the broader procurement transformation and standardization initiatives within the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE)
- Build credibility with internal stakeholders and become a go-to resource for sourcing support and procurement insights
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and stakeholder engagement models
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
- 5-7 years of experience in strategic project management role supporting procurement, supply chain management, Finance, or accounting
- Experience using PACE and/or RACI
- Proven experience in stakeholder management in complex, matrixed environments
- Advanced degree (MBA or PMP) preferred but not required
