- Deep experience in Figma, leveraging advanced prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff workflows to deliver scalable, user experiences
- Proficient in Mural and other collaborative whiteboarding tools to facilitate ideation, workshops, and cross-functional design alignment
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Keynote and other presentation tools
- Designing with Bootstrap
- Leveraging AI-driven design workflows to accelerate deliverables while rigorously upholding UX best practices and usability standards
- Technical Fluency & Implementation Awareness of custom software
- Implementation-First Design: Ability to structure Figma files using a mental model aligned with front-end frameworks (e.g., Flexbox, CSS Grid, Auto-layout). Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of how design decisions impact development
- Systemic Logic & State Management: Deep understanding of data states (loading, empty, error, partial) and the ability to design for asynchronous logic
- Framework Compatibility: Proficiency in designing within the constraints and opportunities of specific UI libraries (Material Angular, Bootstrap, etc.) to ensure a frictionless handoff and 1:1 parity between design and production
- Complex Information Architecture: Proven experience translating high-density, real-time data (e.g., fintech, trading platforms, or dashboarding) into intuitive interfaces that minimize cognitive load for expert users
- Scalable Design Systems: Experience building and maintaining multi-layered design systems that go beyond a simple UI kit, accounting for component logic, tokens, and technical scalability
- Rapid Domain Assimilation: Ability to engage with 'Expert Users' (traders, engineers, etc.) to extract requirements from highly specialized, jargon-heavy fields and translate them into functional design solutions
- Technical Liaison: Acts as a bridge between engineering and product, possessing the 'technical vocabulary' to negotiate trade-offs and understand the feasibility of design solutions within the existing codebase
