About this role
OVA.Work is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support their growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise networks.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement network security measures and policies
- Perform network capacity planning and upgrades
- Maintain documentation of network architecture and configurations
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for system integration
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Hands-on experience with: Cisco routers & switches, Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), Wireless technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- CCNA / CCNP
- CompTIA Network+
- Fortinet NSE
- Palo Alto PCNSE
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Time management and multitasking
