Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Blockchain Platform (Blockchain Nodes)

Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom in the world through its innovative blockchain platform. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to upgrade blockchain nodes, implement automation, and identify areas for investment to streamline services and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities:

• This person would be responsible for upgrading blockchain nodes, implementing automation to reduce TOIL and increase service effectiveness, and identifying new areas of investment (automation) to further streamline our service and reduce manual effort

Requirements:

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• You've designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture
• You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
• You're passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
