They are seeking a strategic, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead marketing campaigns and initiatives, manage a small team, and grow brand awareness and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to company objectives, positioning, and target customer segments
- Lead and manage multi-channel marketing programs end-to-end (email, paid social, content, partnerships, SEO/SEM), including planning, execution, and optimization
- Drive go-live and go-to-market planning for new product features and launches in partnership with product and operations
- Establish a market and competitor intelligence cadence, translating insights into messaging, campaigns, and prioritization
- Define KPIs and build a reporting rhythm for organic and campaign performance, translating data into clear decisions and next steps
- Own stakeholder management with leadership, external partners, creators, and customers, ensuring alignment and accountability
- Partner closely with product to align marketing plans with the roadmap and ensure an exceptional user experience from acquisition through retention
- Collaborate with sales and revenue stakeholders to create and improve lead generation, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing programs
- Manage, coach, and develop a small team of marketing professionals, including goal setting, feedback, and performance management
- Own marketing operations and project management: timelines, resourcing, prioritization, process, and execution quality across initiatives
- Manage marketing budgets and spend, including forecasting, vendor management, and ROI-based allocation
- Marketing Manager should be able to exercise: Idea Generation - Copy Creation - Strategy - Research - On-Time Content - Creator Outreach - Community Engagement (and be able to jump in and execute when needed)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record owning strategy and executing successful campaigns
- Must have startup experience and comfort operating in ambiguity
- Must have go-live / go-to-market experience for product launches
- Must have experience managing and developing a marketing team
- Must be hands-on and able to execute on tasks when needed
- Experience in project management and building repeatable processes
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
