Senior Software Engineer

StrongDM is driven by a clear mission: Secure Access, Zero Trust. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement highly concurrent, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems in Go, focusing on secure networking protocols and APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of highly concurrent, scalable and high performance distributed systems in Go
• Design and implementation of secure networking protocols, routing, real time permissions and auditing systems, APIs & SDKs

Requirements:

• 7+ years of developing distributed systems in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) serving enterprise customers
• Systems background with fundamentals in operating systems, distributed systems, networking and databases
• Affinity for lower-level/systems programming e.g. threading, concurrency
• Expert command of Go, Rust, C, C++ or a similar programming language
