Just for Humanity is a nonprofit organization based in New York City serving under-resourced communities worldwide. They are seeking a highly organized Volunteer Event & Fundraising Project Manager to support the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring that events are well-coordinated and reflect the professionalism of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain event timelines and task trackers
- Coordinate logistics including venue, vendors, sponsorships, and volunteers
- Track sponsorship commitments and guest lists in partnership with the fundraising lead
- Ensure alignment between fundraising goals and event execution
- Partner with the Communications Team to:
- Keep social media content fresh and consistent leading up to the event
- Ensure event visibility across channels
- Support email announcements and reminders
- Provide key milestones and updates to ensure messaging stays timely and relevant
- Oversee event flow and logistics
- Serve as a coordination point between volunteers, vendors, and board members
Requirements:
- Highly organized
- Proactive
- Comfortable managing moving parts, timelines, and communications without needing daily direction
- Ability to develop and maintain event timelines and task trackers
- Experience coordinating logistics including venue, vendors, sponsorships, and volunteers
- Ability to track sponsorship commitments and guest lists in partnership with the fundraising lead
- Ensure alignment between fundraising goals and event execution
- Ability to partner with the Communications Team to keep social media content fresh and consistent leading up to the event
- Ensure event visibility across channels
- Support email announcements and reminders
- Provide key milestones and updates to ensure messaging stays timely and relevant
- Oversee event flow and logistics

- Located in NJ or NY who can attend and support local events in person
