Baird Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced AI Product Manager to join their team and help scale a next-generation EHR and Practice Management platform for behavioral health providers. This pivotal role focuses on driving complex product initiatives and optimizing growth mechanisms while collaborating closely with engineering and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive complex product initiatives across EHR and PM domains, including:
- Clinical workflows
- Billing
- Documentation
- Compliance
- Integrations
- Understand and optimize growth mechanisms, including:
- Retention
- Conversion
- Activation
- Product-led growth and sales-led growth
- Operate as a strong individual contributor:
- Write clear, actionable requirements
- Collaborate closely with engineering
- Make data-informed decisions
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate to:
- Accelerate prototyping
- Structure exploratory work
- Increase throughput without sacrificing quality
- Partner with engineering, design, support, and senior leadership to define and prioritize the roadmap
- Conduct market and user research to validate opportunities and sharpen product direction
- Translate strategy into execution and proactively remove delivery blockers
- Monitor adoption, usage, and customer feedback; iterate based on signals—not assumptions
- Serve as a cross-functional leader, operating confidently at both strategic and tactical levels
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare technology (EHR, PM, RCM, or adjacent systems)
- Demonstrated experience shipping and scaling production-grade software with measurable customer and business impact
- Strong product judgment and execution discipline, balancing speed with rigor
- Excellent analytical skills: Ability to interrogate product usage, build models, drive decisions from data
- Technically adept and experienced collaborating closely with engineering teams
- Comfortable incorporating AI capabilities to streamline workflows, accelerate ideation, and increase execution leverage
- Proven ability to increase roadmap velocity and bring clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Comfortable engaging with executive leadership and frontline users alike
- Experience in the behavioral or mental health vertical is a significant plus
