Product Manager II: Lending & Deposits Account Origination

Jack Henry is a technology solutions provider focused on transforming community banks and credit unions. They are seeking a Product Manager to join their Lending & Deposit Origination Product Management team, responsible for product planning, execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Performs primary market and user research to understand the problems we are solutioning and ensure the product is differentiated from competitors
• Hosts discovery interviews, surveys, and focus groups with customers and stakeholders, intaking user feedback funneling into insights and ideas
• Create user personas to understand target users and customer journey maps
• Prioritizing & defining features with a description and benefit hypothesis capturing the vision, business value, and success criteria into a product brief
• Coordination and collaboration with other product managers and architecture & development, as ideas move from discovery to delivery
• Conduct usability testing and beta testing; gathering and distributing feedback & insights
• Assists in preparing the organization for product releases and launches
• Assists in the creation and maintenance of the product vision/roadmap
• May perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 months of experience within the Banking, Credit Union, or Fintech industry
• Minimum of 12 months of experience within product management, product ownership, business analysis, or another related role within the software development lifecycle
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational/project management skills
• Strong business acumen is desired with the ability to adapt to changing business needs
• Product Management training and certification
• Experience with loan origination
• Experience with AI in any of the following capacities: AI-Driven Productivity – using AI agents (e.g., Gemini, CoPilot) to accelerate internal workflows like drafting product briefs, synthesizing meeting notes, and generating user stories
• Prompting & Experimentation – ability to use AI 'playgrounds' to test and refine prompts, ensuring the AI delivers high-quality, reliable outputs for your specific feature set
• Risk & Reliability – understanding the limitations of LLMs, including hallucinations and bias
• Fintech Compliance – knowledge of how to build AI features within a highly regulated environment, prioritizing data anonymization and secure handling of PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
• Ability to translate business objectives into technical product requirements for development
• Experience with creating strategic design related materials like journey maps, diagrams, life cycles, etc
• Experience leading customer discovery or focus group interviews or A/B testing experiments
