ATPCO is the world's primary source for air fare content, providing technology and data solutions for the travel industry. The Manager of Engineering will drive technological innovation, optimize engineering processes, and ensure that teams deliver value to customers while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, focusing on career development and performance management
- Establish and communicate performance expectations, conducting regular evaluations to hold team members accountable for their progress
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to align engineering efforts with product definitions, roadmaps, and success measures
- Develop and implement development standards, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Serve as the liaison for Level 3 production support activities, ensuring effective problem resolution and technical investigation
- Foster partnerships with the Center of Excellence to support the adoption of new technologies, architectural standards, and design approaches
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to define the tools and environments required to create reliable and maintainable software applications
