Experian is a global data and technology company that empowers opportunities for people and businesses. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and evolve data and analytics products used by lenders for credit and risk decisions, collaborating with various teams to build and manage these products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for analytics-driven data products used in lender decisioning
- Identify opportunities to blend bureau data and third-party/vendor data into differentiated products
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and target use cases across underwriting, fraud, payments risk, and portfolio management
- Evaluate, onboard, and manage external data vendors and partners to expand coverage and improve predictive power
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Procurement on contracts, data rights, permissible use, and Service Level Agreements
- Oversee product requirements related to data quality, reliability, latency, coverage, and change management for third-party data
- Partner with the Analytics team to define attributes, scores, and performance metrics aligned to lender outcomes
- Work with Engineering to deliver scalable, production-grade data products in batch and real-time
- Support go-to-market teams with product documentation, enablement, and client-facing narratives
- Define and track product success metrics
- Gather feedback from lenders and our teams to refine products
- Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch, iteration, and eventual deprecation
Requirements:
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in data, analytics, fintech, credit, payments, or risk-related products
- Background in overseeing data products or platforms
- Experience collaborating with analytics, engineering, legal/compliance, and external partners
- Experience leading the development of product roadmaps, requirements, and prioritization in multifaceted environments
- Understanding of how lenders use data for credit, fraud, or payment decisioning
- Hands-on familiarity with Generative AI tools and capabilities, with the ability to apply GenAI thoughtfully to product discovery, data analysis, documentation, and workflow automation
- Background working with credit bureau data, alternative data, or other data products
- Familiarity with payment processors
- Capability to manage vendor-supplied data products and data partnerships
- Exposure to regulated environments and concepts such as data governance, auditability, explainability, and permissible use
