Slice is a company dedicated to empowering local pizzerias with the technology and services they need to thrive. The Lead Product Manager will spearhead product development for the Consumer Commerce team, focusing on revenue generation and managing the entire product lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the product development within the Consumer Commerce team
- Improve, iterate and build new products that serve as the direct connection between shops and their pizza loving consumers
- Be responsible for a coherent portfolio of features and be accountable for the entire product lifecycle
- Identify new areas of investment (new projects) for the product or area
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Design, Go-To-Market and Operations
- Support a small team and provide direct line management and leadership responsibilities
- Define simple, elegant solutions from understanding user needs and identifying when further research is needed
- Be the product expert for Consumer Commerce with a deep understanding of users, market, and technology
- Foster innovation across the team by creating space for it to happen
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of Product Management experience within a commerce or consumer market place domain
- A strong track record as a high performing individual contributor first and foremost, our leaders all 'lead by doing'
- Direct line management experience of Product Management colleagues
- Experience both in analysing data to help develop hypotheses and then constructing experiments to test them
- Experience in driving business outcomes, as opposed to shipping features
- Demonstrated experience using some kind of product analytics tool
- Clear passion for Design Thinking and being a partner to Product Design
- Meticulous in taking care of the details and demonstrating end-to-end ownership of work
- Fluent in agile software development
- Familiarity with the pizza or restaurant industry a bonus
