Coforge is seeking a highly disciplined, execution-focused Technical Project Manager to lead planning and orchestration of large-scale application and IT support during a major divestiture. The role involves owning the integrated project plan, holding engineering teams accountable, and proactively identifying risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a fully integrated project plan with clear workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and critical path – including TSA exit plans, where applicable
- Identify sequencing conflicts and resolve upstream risks
- Maintain milestone forecasting and variance analysis
- Act as execution counterpart to third-party consultants
- Validate completeness and practicality of deliverables
- Ensure engineering-readiness before execution waves begin
- Close planning gaps before they become production blockers
- Create structured intake and tracking mechanism for extract requests
- Define SLA expectations, sequencing, and engineering allocation
- Drive accountability for on-time extract production
- Escalate early when capacity risks emerge
- Maintain executive-level visibility into status and risk
- Anticipate bottlenecks (resource, environment, sequencing)
- Lead risk mitigation planning with clear owner/action/date discipline
- Provide crisp, fact-based executive updates
- Operate calmly under timeline pressure
Requirements:
- 10 – 12+ years in Technical Project / Program Management
- Proven experience building integrated project plans for complex technical initiatives
- Experience managing projects in an Agile environment
- Experience leveraging Jira for work execution
- Experience leading application decommissioning, rationalization, or large-scale IT transformation
- Strong familiarity with data extraction, system dependencies, and production change sequencing
- Experience working with external consulting firms in delivery capacity
- Demonstrated ability to manage 50+ concurrent deliverables
- Strong executive communication skills (concise, structured, direct)
- IT divestiture / separation experience
- Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) delivery exposure
- Cloud or infrastructure migration experience
- Experience operating within tight regulatory or contractual deadlines
