Senior AI Engineer

FUSTIS LLC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to support a large-scale AWS Data Lake migration initiative. This role will provide strong technical leadership in designing data ingestion frameworks and building AI/ML and generative AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development and deployment of Generative AI and ML solutions, from POC to production
• Support AWS data lake migration, including raw data ingestion (bronze layer) from multiple enterprise systems
• Design and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, and other ETL tools
• Perform prompt engineering and optimization for Generative AI use cases
• Develop and integrate AI solutions using Python, Java, or Node.js
• Collaborate with data, product, marketing, and business teams to identify AI-driven automation and analytics opportunities
• Establish architecture standards, migration frameworks, and best practices for scalable AI and data engineering
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication throughout the migration lifecycle

Requirements:

• 3 + years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with hands-on experience in Generative AI
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with AWS cloud services, especially data lake, ETL, and serverless tools
• Knowledge of machine learning, NLP, deep learning, or AI frameworks
• Experience building and deploying production-ready AI applications
• Strong understanding of data engineering, cloud architecture, and large-scale data migrations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, or data lake architecture
• Experience working with enterprise-scale data migration projects
• Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance
